The study aims at comparing the Quality of work life (QWL) of the Bank managers in Public Sector and Private Sector Banks in Bihar, India. This research effort has been made to understand increasing opportunities of employment generation in the banks and how their work has been done from the bank managers. The present study is based on Jain(1986)’s Quality of working life (QWL) model based on eight parameters. The sample of the present study comprised of 250 bank managers and their age varied from 26 to 52 years. Among 250 bank managers 140 bank managers were public banks and 110 bank managers were private banks.   SPSS were used for data analysis.  Data were analyzed based on descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive Statistics has been used to describe the general perception of bank managers towards various factors affecting the Quality of work life (QWL) in the banking Sectors. Inferential statistics includes student‘t’ test. The‘t’ test results show that the two groups differed significantly only on ‘Social integration in the work organization’. The results were discussed in the light of other relevant studies.

Globalization and severe competition to survive in the global market is pressuring the Information Technology (IT) organizations to strive for strong foothold in the arena .The success of any organization is determined by the performance of its employees ,thus the organizations pressurize employees to perform better ,increase their productivity and contribute for the organizational growth. There are various factors which influence the performance of employees. Hence this paper focuses on the influential factors of employee performance, relevance of these factors in the Information Technology industry, considering few of the selected IT companies.

The main objective of this paper is to investigate the effect of the individual determinants of human behavior on job performance at Kenana Sugar Company, Sudan in the period 2014-2017. To achieve such an objective, the study followed descriptive, analytical and historical approaches. The data of the study were collecting trough secondary sources and primary sources (i.e. case study and questionnaire), which was distributed to a sample taken from population of Kenana Sugar Company. According to testing the hypothesis (i.e.  The effect of the individual determinants of human behavior on job performance) onKenana Sugar Company, it was found that the individual determinants of human behavior had effect on job performance. Based on the study findings, the study concluded with recommendation of providing opportunities for new leaders in the teamwork. Besides, the employee should be willing and have the skills that his or her organization needs. The organization should understand the objectives of the team and be committed to the group standards to avoid any deviation from team ethics of behaviors in addition to the study of environmental variables of the organization and individual.

The\r\npresent study has been conducted in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh based\r\non the primary data collected from 150 polyhouse farmers to access production,\r\nmarket arrival, cost, price spread and efficiency of tomato. The polyhouse were\r\nclassified into three category, i.e. small (i.e.40 m2), medium (i.e.250 m2) and\r\nlarge (i.e.500 m2). Further each size of polyhouse has been divided into three\r\ncrops, i.e. tomato, capsicum and cucumber. Tomato grown under14 m2, 71.43 m2\r\nand 153.33 m2 under the small, medium and large of polyhouses respectively. The\r\nmarketable surplus was 5.57 quintals (i.e.97.55 per cent) after retaining 0.14\r\nquintal (i.e.4.65 per cent) for family consumption. Marketed surplus was 5.45\r\nquintal (i.e.95.45 per cent). Losses due to mishandling, breakage and spoilage\r\nwere 2.10 percent. The most effective marketing channel for tomato was channel\r\nIV (i.e.191.60per cent) followed by channel III (i.e.9.07 per cent), channel II\r\n(i.e.4.30 per cent) and channel I (i.e.3.39 per cent). In channel IV, producers\r\nincurred all the expenses went through streets as vendors and sold the fresh\r\ntomato directly to the consumers. High marketing cost of local traders are\r\ntheir expenditure on transport, packing, labour, loading, unloading and other\r\nmiscellaneous cost. The producers share in consumers’ rupee was the highest in\r\nchannel IV (i.e.99.48 per cent) and the lowest was in channel I (i.e.77.26 per\r\ncent). Producers share is directly related to the number of market intermediaries\r\ninvolved in the marketing of tomato. The percentage share of gross marketing\r\nmargin in consumer’s rupee was, i.e. 11.95, 12.45, 5.10 and 0.00 per cent\r\nrespectively in channel I, II, III and IV. \r\n\r\n

Kenya’s National Debt is just over 3.77 Trillion-mark with Domestic Public debt reaching a level of Kshs. 444.7 billion in 2016. This project examined the impact of public domestic debt on private credit levels in Kenya over the period 2008-2016, an investment function with three independent variables, namely treasury bills, bonds, and central bank overdraft. The dependent variable is private sector credit. The secondary data obtained from Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) and Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) was used. SPSS Software was used in running linear regression. The results indicated that high levels of domestic borrowing have negatively affected private investment. The results also showed that the impact of public investment on private investment was not as significant as public domestic debt, variable suggesting that public investment has not been complementary on private investment. Variability in Interest rates have negatively impacted on private investments, while with regard to GDP, economic growth has induced more private investments. The findings of this paper call for designing appropriate policies that deal with the ever-rising domestic public debt and the sale of domestic debt. The results have important implications for fiscal management in the context of the country’s crying need to generate faster employment growth, meet the Millennium Development Goals, and attain the Vision 2030 goals. Research results are also of significant value to the academia in helping them design other longitudinal studies.

Financial technology (FinTech) continues to receive much attention and promises to transform financial services industry. As this technology emerges there is a strong conviction that it will reduce costs and create new opportunities to the participants. And, although the development of FinTech is still in early stages, many believe that it will define and shape the future of the financial services industry, and at the same time increase participation by those who have until recently been under- or un served. Fin tech is evolving in an environment that portents intense competition and there is a doubt of outright success in this space. Various factors, both internal and external, will impact on this rather highly fluid product providing technology. Survival in this market will rely on how best a participant positions oneself  and meet customer expectations. This article demonstrates some key factors that determine the success of FinTech firms in this competitive industry. Some of these factors, termed the LAS C (low margin, asset light, scalable, innovative and compliance easy) principles have been mentioned. FinTech companies could benefit from applying some of the ideas presented in this article to their businesses.  We surveyed   key firms  in the financial sector investing and innovating new FinTech products. Safaricom was singled out and it’s LASIC basic principles isolated to illustrate how its success relies on these principles. The conclusion drawn is that in the ever changing financial environment consumers represent a key focal element. Firms should strive to manufacture products that meet the expectations of the changing needs of customers in the financial market- personalized services that provide convenience, security and connectivity. Connectivity can be achieved through smart phones, wirables and across radio signals .The financial market needs an integration of both social linkage and financial inclusion. FinTech expansion does not evolve in a vacuum. There will always be government and its agents ready to institute regulatory processes to protect both consumers and service providers. It is important to point out that regulation should be pro- tech rather than anti-tech. The regulations created should encourage growth of technologies like M-pesa because of the benefits that come with such technology.
